Worst groomers ever. They do not know how to deal with heavy double coated dogs. I was told that my dog would be brushed and trimmed. However my dog came back shaved and poorly done. The shave looked like it was done by a 5 year old and took 4 hours to complete. I do not recommend them. Please look for a professional local groomer.
Took my dog medium breed kelpie to Best Freinds Pt Cook for just a simple wash and blowdry, nails clipped, instead of paying the usual $49 was charged $60. Many pet stores allow you to wash your own dog for $10 for 10 mins and provide shampoo as well, will consider this next time. I think $30 is reasonable for a dog wash $60 isn't, is not Toorak here in the West. Think it also is a little bit unfair to charge by weight. Kelpies are not large dogs they are classified as Medium.
No prof groomer on Mondays atm, so no full grooms of any sort. I have been trying to book several times and been told by staffs they don’t do full groom on Mondays, the day that I don’t work.
Lucky for Point Cook, there are many groomers, both mobile and shops. So, do shop around, other groomers are as professional and as dedicated in looking after our precious fur babies delivering top service at the time that we need it and our convenience.
Think of it as helping the small businesses of pet groomers in Point Cook.
Apparently to buy fish, you need a Uni Degree! Getting asked 20 questions about buying fish to have in a school classroom was ridiculous! You almost needed to have a complete backround check to go ahead to buy fish.
We used to go here frequently for all of our pet needs, but since this, we won't be.
Further to this, it can be a tad on the expensive side.
I took my dogs there the other day and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The store is so big and there is a great range of products. I stopped by the vet desk to talk about Millie's dirty ears and smelly bottom. They were very caring and informative. Then I couldn't resist stopping by the kittens that were there for adoption. We might be adding another member to the household soon! Highly recommend.
