The only reason that this centre is still standing is beacuse the junior staff are good. But management is horrible. The Director Kathrerine Mayer is unresonable to her staff and parents. There may be an "open communication policy " if you are open to being bullied. I wouldn't be surprised if there are certain things kept from parents that would cause concern. If you haven't had a bad experience with this centre. GREAT! If you have... you'd have been kicked out, threatened or left. At the end of the day, its the children that matter and if you feel that something is wrong pull your kid out.
Our 18 month old daughter has been coming to this this wonderful centre for the last 8 months and we could not be happier! She loves to come to 'school' and loves her carers. The program is simply exceptional and we are so impressed with all the different activities and how much she has already learned in only a few months! We have noticed the time and care the teachers put into preparing all the craft, games and activities to make them exciting for the children, the enthusiasm when they interact with them, teach them and play with them, the genuine concern for them when they are upset or hurt.
We are so happy we found BHMCP!
The centre may appear a bit old as some have mentioned in terms of its building or toys. But the educators that my daughter has had at the nursery are mostly very caring and warm hearted people. This is the 6th month since we started here and all the educators are still on job. My daughter has learned a lot. She is turning 3 in 2months and she could now easily and happlily count to 15. One thing worth mentioning is that many montesorri classes seem to use less colorful toys which might appear to be old but that's because lots of them are wooden.
One major reason I choose this centre is that they have totally separate rooms for age under 2, 2-3 and 3+ and each has separate playing area too. This means the noise level of each group does not affect one another and this has made it much easier for youngers kids to take naps.
I am a mother of 3 and each of my children have been part of this wonderful childcare. My youngest will move on to "BIG" school next year and I am hesitant if another local service can provide the nurturing care they offer.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every staff member, INCLUDING the owners, for giving my children the love, care and educational support needed during their foundation years. THANK YOU!
I have no hesitations to recommend ANY parent/carer to this service.
My children are my greatest investments and the hours and patience the staff have given to each of my children is priceless!
The only THING I would like to change is put a FREEZE on my youngest child's age, so he doesn't have to leave the place!!!
