Bignell Panel Repairs

WARNING!!! Please be aware this company is operating without full insurance coverage. I brought my car in for a minor bumper fix and while being repaired, the car was damaged by the recent floods resulting in the car being fully written off. As the company does not have proper insurance coverage I am now left out of pocket and without a car. What's worse is rather than try to work with the customer to find a solution, the company has chosen to wash their hands of the problem. The company has not responded to the multiple emails and phone messages that I have left for them to contact me back. If you are thinking of taking your car in for repair with this company, please reconsider. While you may not be impacted by exactly the same circumstances, if this is how they have treated me, imagine how they would treat you if you were unsatisfied with your repair once they have taken your money.

4 Day Repair has taken weeks

Not returning calls - told me their phone lines down and reliant on mobile (Mobile not used)

Unable to complete car repairs, "electronic sensors not working" = so had to send car on to another repairer

Car going into limp mode

Called Bignell who tell me to take it to Jeep - who diagnose blown PCM and Temp Sensor -

I wash the car and find head light that was to be replaced was never replaced - I ring insurance - they authorised and were invoiced for a headlight, and bignell never put it in

DONT trust these people with your car!!

Everything seemed too hard when dealing with these people
I am unhappy with my insurer for making me go there.

My Lexus RX350 was involved in an accident, sandwiched in between two cars. Bignell Panel Repair was selected by the insurer to repair it. It was truely an amazing experience. The quality of the repair was exceptional. These guys do not cut corners. They replaced most damaged parts with new parts, unlike some others that try to repair and knock them back. Love their work. They also have a few Merc sitting in their yard. I did some research and found that these guys are actually the recommended authorised repairer for branded cars such as Mercedes Benz too. Good job and great service. When I discover that one of the rear tail lights wasn't working after the repair, I brought the car back, and they immediately replace the bulb. I didnt thought the blown light bulb was due to the accident, and shouldnt have been repaired by these guys, but they just replace the bulb, no question ask.Thank you guys for the great job!

This is a terrible place to have a car sent for repair. Had to come back multiple times. Being a woman i was treated worse, than usual... Disregarded on everything i said & had to get second & third opinions before what i said would even be acknowledged. The receptionist is rude and so is the other lady she works alongside with... They took the original stickers off my orginial panels and glued them back on, you can see the glue everywhere. Panels were not placed correctly, and had to get marks removed from the inside of the car they had left, on my own time.
I would very strongly oppose having your car sent here! They are useless & rude!
