They were professional and friendly, making me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Everyone was social and having fun, which made for a nice atmosphere.
The stylist was patient and educated me on my hair, which is something I hadn't experienced in other salons. I have newly thinning hair, which has made me insecure about going to the hairdressers but they recommended a hair treatment for home to help promote new growth as well as tips on how to style my hair to make it look thicker.
If I was visiting Melbourne again I’d definitely return to Billie jeans.
I cannot recommend this salon enough! I have been going to Billie Jean hair for the past 3 years and have always been very happy with the results. Its always a relaxing experience, the staff are all very well trained and friendly. I am extremely particular about my hair and have experimented with blonde and red tones, and have always been happy with the results. You need to check them out!

The people were generally friendly and what I had wanted I was told wouldn't work in my hair because my hair was too short so the colourist spent time talking to me about options. At the end of the day I just wanted to break up the blonde a bit in my hair so she suggested low-lights which I was happy to go ahead with.
The picture of the haircut I found I was perfunctorily told wouldn't work well in my hair and that I should do an undercut- I stressed that I was growing my hair so I still wanted to be able to grow it easily.
