It's the only Drive In left in Sydney I believe and absolutely love it - It's a great experience.
The tickets are reasonably priced. However, it was cheaper though before the renovation.
If you end up buying food there it can be a little expensive - It's best to get some take-away food or something before you go in.
Don't forget to let your friend out of the boot before the movie starts as well. ;-)
A classic night out as always. Been going for as long as I could drive, 1999. Has been a great night out every time and even better now that the place has had a makeover. $10 per person, per movie, you can argue with that. 9 times out of 10 my wife and I go and we watch two movies. Great night out for only $40.
The only downside is the price of the food and drinks. Bring it all from home if you can, you'll save a great deal of money.
I have gone to the drive-ins so many times and since the recent renovations it's only got better and much more popular.
Movies cost only $10.00 per person which is a lot cheaper than a cinema.
Whether you sit in the front seats of your car or reverse your vehicle and open the tail gate to watch from the back, it's always fun. Even in winter its the perfect excuse to snuggle under a blanket.
No-one gets dressed up, its a perfect night for tracksuit pants and ugg boots. The newly renovated cafeteria is fantastic and very 60's. There is a variety of hot food as well as popcorn and choc tops but you cant go past trying the salted caramel choc top on your next visit. It's simply incredible
