The place is extremely dirty. Look at the walls and floors in the bathroom, kitchen and hallway area, I've never seen anything like it! Needs a through clean or renovation.
Meals were small and my soup had more pieces of ginger (that you can't eat) than vegetables.
Won't be back.
We chose the Blue Monkey as we had not eaten here before. It is a Monday night, there are no empty tables and the place is alive with chatter. The Blue Monkey is a light filled, vibrant restaurant buzzing with the sound of sizzling oil and backed with the percussion of the busy chefs frantically working their cooking utensils and woks. Such a great Thai restaurant, we go here all the time. The green curry is so yummy and really filling! and the thai beef salad is really fresh and not too salty like some other places. Even when the place is full the service is great. a must try is also the chicken skewers with peanut sauce as an entree, absolutely delicious.
Best Thai in the spot, it has great variety of dishes and are not shortchanging you on the serving size (when you eat in or take out!). I recommend the salmon papaya salad, the duck in plum sauce, any of the curries or BBQ. Cute decor with Thai singers redoing a few great classic songs makes for a relaxing atmoshpere.
