Having contacted a number of car delearships about buying a new D-Max, I found it hard work buying a car as I seemed to be a hinderance rather than a client. It was suggested that I contact Andrew House at Blue Ribbon. I rang him, gave him a list of what I wanted, and had a great price first up. Car was ready on time, no complaints from me.
What excellent customer service... Not only was I not pressured into buying a car, when I decided to leave the car yard to think about it I was not roped in by another special offer, the salesman just let me do my thing, even after deciding to purchase I was receiving emails and texts asking if everything was ok with my new toy. I encourage anybody who is willing to buy a car to consider Blue Ribbon, true customer service, impeccable purchasing experience.
My how things have changed in 4 years....After canceling a contract in the cooling off period on a car that we were railroaded into had lots of trouble getting deposit back, even after being verbally advised that if there were no out of pocket expenses on their part that we would get refund back in full they chose to hold $100.00 back...Not happy... Contract signed on Saturday afternoon and cancelled Monday morning before opening time by email and fax to explain why. After after a week and half part of deposit refunded, Blue Ribbon will not answer phone calls or emails, finally got to speak to the management because they didn't recognize my name and had no reason why they had withheld some of my deposit just saying that it was at their discretion if they returned it or not and had chosen in this instance not to refund in full. I have read Toyota Tamer comments and find it hard to believe any motor dealer would give a three year warranty on a 2006 model car! You must have been confused. I have bought many vehicles from Blue Ribbon over the years and have received excellent service in every respect from the sales team, new & quality used vehicles. The service department of Blue Ribbon are particularly helpful & polite. I haven't had to do much to my cars apart from servicing them. Full marks to Blue Ribbon I will continue to buy here in the future. Regards, Oscar.
I have been very impressed by how friendly staff are comparing them to other automotive repair outlets. They really do value customer service and go out their way to help. I also bought a used car from them and they were able to explain the differing features of their cars to help compare them. They never used pressure tactics or hovered around while looking.
