quoted the job over the phone between $100 and $500. I took the bike there and I told them that I also needed to fix a dent on the tank and said that it didn't look too bad. Two weeks later told me it would cost me over $3.200. I though it was unreasonable and unfair as the bike doesn't cost that much. Charged $75 for the outrageous quote and I felt that they just wanted to do the job and saw the opportunity to make some easy money. I pull the parts and the front well and axle are not bended as they said, I bought the damaged parts on eBay for $220. and I know I will get it fixed for less than the $500 they said. I would never recommend it anyone as I lost money and time.

Blueprint Engineering has state of the art equipment which can identify damaged parts which the naked eye cannot. We provide a very fair service with quality workmanship. Quoting damage over the phone we rely on the customer's description. In this case we were asked to quote repairs to just forks and triples that were removed. After arriving at the workshop with a completely written off bike the customer then additionally asked us to quote on repairing the complete crash damage to the bike. We explained that there was a $75 charge for us to remove parts and check damage to the frame and forks etc. After removing parts and quoting the repairs we responded within 2 days. After the customer realised the bike he bought was now going to cost more to repair than the value of the bike he chose to take his frustration out by leaving negative feedback. We have a great reputation in Adelaide and the service we provide has been very successful Australia wide.

I fixed the bike myself and was able to make a profit selling it for $2.000. They asked me for $3.200 to get it fixed. Said the wheel was damaged and it wasnt. Frame bent and it wasnt. And lots more unreasonable stuff. How come I didnt have any problem going through the inspections to get it registered again?. Beware, it was less frustraiting to fix it myself than to waste time and money with BluePrint Engineering.
