Boatmans Fish & Chips

Absolutely horrible fish and chips! In the first place I tried to put in a take away order 41 bloody times and then on the 42nd attempt I received a curt 'we are closed'!!!!! Then my husband then got fish and chips.....,the extreme worst 'butter fish', a false scallop & chips???

The lady is so rude... she treats customers like criminals... can't take the salt outside to their own tables they have displayed out the front of their shop. She repeatedly yelled at my husband that it's a takeaway shop and they don't bring your food outside... which we understood the first time she said it. The food is disgusting with no flavor... don't even waste your money on the hamburgers... the meat is like eating cardboard... we will definitely never go back there again and will let family and friends know not to go there. They need lessons in customer service and put customers first... without customers you don't have a business... and they definitely need cooking lessons... I heard the previous owners were great... wish we could experience their food. !!!

The service is shocking... the lady is extremely rude and after spending $50 on lunch she changes 20 cents for a piece of lemon for the flake. Hamburgers are discussing... no flavor... they need cooking lessons and customer service skills!!!!!

Best hamburgars on the Bellarine! After hearing my Mum and Dad rave about Boatman's hamburgars, we tried them the other night and have to say they are fantastic! Nice clean premises too and friendly staff. We'll be back for sure!

Use to be superb and my family would travel to Portarlington for their fish and chips.
It as changed hands and the change in quality and service is extraordinary!
Will not be returning!
