Boatshack Fish & Chips

Terrible, terrible fish and chips- I'm really not sure how they could get it so wrong! My husband stood for 10 mins in the store waiting before someone deemed to take his order (and our money!), the supposedly grilled fish was coated in a thick batter then burnt on a very hot plate so the batter remained uncooked on the inside but blackened to a char on the outside. The chips were soggy and only half the box was filled. The only positive thing I can say about our meal here is that complimentary lemon wedges helped to mask the flavour of the burnt fish. A total disappointment.
