Boonooroo-tuan Caravan Park

We don't think these negative reviews are balanced. We stayed there and found management very helpful. They even lent us a plug in light as we didn't have one with us, and delivered sunday morning bread and papers. Rules? Like don't make noise after 10 pm, keep dogs on leads and keep showers to 5 mins as there is only bore and rain water we thought all perfectly reasonable. Certainly this is not a young persons park and the demographic is older. We met people who had been going there for over 20 years regularly because they liked the park, and were all very friendly. It is an older camp but the amenities were spotless and no smells. The sites all had individual power and a tap. It is a lovely spot to stay but yes take insect repellent.

Although Boonooroo Caravan Park is in a lovely spot I would NOT recommend staying here to anyone. The facilities, or lack of, are extremely run down and management is rude and not at all helpful. The park is overcome with rules and regulations and overall has an unfriendly vibe. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.
