Petrol & Service Stations
BP
A recent trip to Yatala led me to a stopover at this service centre for a fuel top up. There are plenty of bowsers to accommodate the travel rush, they are new and work efficiently (yay). Fuel gouging seems to be the norm these days particular in areas where service centres are the monopoly, but I did not feel 98 was priced any higher here than regular service stations on the Coast. Half a star lost on service. The line up to pay was out the door with one person on a register, a frustrating long wait later and suddenly three workers jump on registers to serve the now small line up - not very well thought out.
A great stopover for travellers, particularly with kids as there are plenty of food options in the attached food court including McDonalds with a play area for the kiddies to burn through some energy while you enjoy a coffee and a break.
I would like to thank the man with blonde hair behind the counter who went out of his way to ensure I had the right oil purchased for my car. He even offered to assist in filling it up for me. All the staff were friendly and the coffee at Wild Bean Cafe is delicious! I will be back!
Huge service station and truck stop, conveniently located off the southbound lane of the M1. Always good for a feed with a good range of options inside the service centre. Convenience store included on the BP side, kids play area, cafes and friendly staff. Amenities always clean and well maintained as well. Ample seating if required.
I m disabled , went in to ask for some help while at the service station - assist me with putting air into tyres . Refused any assistance, felt like I was worthless that I could not do a simple task . So UnAustralian ........ Shame on BP Stapleton .
These are the facts - what would any normal person , company have done in this situation. I m disabled and have enough other issues to deal with .
Never again!
I m physically disabled and they refused to help- it makes me feel physically sick knowing -worker even went to his supervisor to see if they could help -- the supervisor would not even come out to explain.
This is so unAustralian! Being disabled and having to ask for help for even the most simplistic task is hard enough- the task Help to put air in my tyres - as I only have the use of one arm. Shame on you guys at Stapleton BP.
It was so hard to keep calm while being told this .
