Bread Top

I have only been here once and as they say first impressions count and - well - was I impressed. This is a *concept* I personally had never seen before, it's a cross between a hot bread shop and a cake shop, but it is all self serve. All the items are displayed in glass cabinets, labelled and priced up - so you know what it is and how much - no nasty surprises - don't you just hate it when you get to the cash register and the total is like $15 for 2 items - you realise why things weren't priced up! You can choose from cookies and tarts to mini hamburgers and donuts, buns and stunning sweet treats like cheesecake, mud cake and mouse. Being able to serve yourself you can choose exactly which item you want. Be prepared for an expanding waist line there are so many sweet and inviting treats just when you think you've found the cake you want you'll see something else! Maybe it's a good thing this shop is in an area I don't get to too often :-)
