Bridgestone Select
Extremely disappointed and angry with Bridgestone Enoggera. I have used them a few times before and been very happy with them, but I think there has been a change in their management. Car went in for service a few weeks ago. I had concerns with clutch. They rang to discuss problem and let me know costs. By the time I had written everything down the cost had come to over $4000. I asked them to fix one thing - clutch. They quoted it as a six hour job and cost would be $1100. Next morning they rang me to say they had misquoted and it was a 10 hour job and they would do me a deal and only charge me for 8 hours $1300. I declined their services and went to collect my car. I took to another mechanics and gave them the list of all the was wrong with my car from Bridgestone. A few weeks ago I had the displeasure of going to Bob Jane T Mart to purchase 2 brand new tyres. The tyres were not the ones they had promised me, and to cap it off they took my two remaining Pirelli tyres (the tread was still good on those). What I was left with were four very sub-standard tyres. The tyres handled terribly around corners and there was a real difference in the braking. So immediately that evening I logged two web requests. One with Bridgestone and the other with Jax Quickfix. I immediately recieved a return call the following day from Shane at Bridgestone Enoggera. He gave a quote on some tyres which would be suitable for my car. Before making any final decisions I thought I would wait to hear from Jax Quickfix. After getting the run around with them for two weeks straight, I went to my second choice which were Bridgestone. Shane at Enoggera gave me a great deal on the tyres. I had four new tyres put on the car, then I had to go back to have something rectified. Now four months down the track I notice a wheel nut missing, and on every wheel there are very loose wheel nuts. I took the car back and they fixed it for me, but there was no apology only some lame explanation. I won't be going back. NOT HAPPY JAN.
