Our luggage was lost from the airplane to the baggage carousel at Brisbane Airport. We have lost thousands of dollars - I urge people to read their T&C's when buying an airplane ticket but don't just assume you will be reimbursed for items "lost". They do not.
No one - including Brisbance Airport Corporation - take accountability. You will be given a generic email and phone number that no one picks up.
And YOU will be left to pick up the pieces.
Very disapointed and will not use Brisbane airport again if I can travel from anywhere else. Avoid at all costs.
On average I would probably go to the airport a handful of times a year. Yes we had to put up with construction and all that for a while, but WOW how nice & stress free the airport is now. I utilised the airport last week and used the new long term car park. Must say I was very impressed. You can pre-book your parking on line to get a discount ($49 weekend special). We drove in, got a park easily by following the LCD screens & lights prompting you to where the available parks are. The walk to the airport is wonderful now. Straight through over the walkway down an escalator and you're there. And if you can manage it, the experience is even better with just carry on luggage. You can check-in on line and have the pleasure of walking straight through to security. No lining up required. Impressed!!!
it seems that the BAC, Brisbane Airport Corporation could take notice of what those that use the airport are saying, a large roundabout near the airport where there used to be lights is a real nightmare, the BAC is also very very expensive compared with most other capital cities as far as airport fees, the traffic does seem to flow into the airport area ok, recommend to most do not park and pay the fees if you have any other option may even be better to taxi in and get a ride home
