Brisbane Entertainment Centre

Great to see one of my favourite bands. Avoid trains, plan lifts as it's impossible to get out of the venue if concert goes late.

It's probably not the greatest venue for bands but certainly well laid out, with plenty of parking and ease of entry.
Some of the acts seen here are truly world class. I've been attending things here since Torville & Dean toured when I was a kid, through to Robbie Williams in 2014.
Like any large gatherings, it can take a while for all to file out at the same time and hit the road, causing traffic bottle necks, but I guess that's the pain for attending some great nights out! There's lovely grounds if you attend events in the day and a walk around the gardens is always pretty.

Great entertainment centre. Really well set out & easy to navigate. Parking is a breeze with alphabetical signage throughout the huge carparks (although at certain events, council charge $15 per day)
The centre itself can seat over 10,000 people in air conditioned comfort.
If you're female, check out the pink toilets around Door 7, dedicated to P!NK. They're pretty cool :D

I have seen many bands here, too many to remember. Parking is incredibly well organised and orchestrated. The seating and sound is fantastic, and the food is "okay". Depending on the band, different rules apply... and as such it can be incredibly frustrating to play the guessing game of whether or not cameras are allowed inside and it's even more frustrating to have to walk your camera all the way back to your car (if you have one) if you find out that it's not allowed. Great bar if you fancy a drink, but way too busy to really be comfortable.
