My car was purchased brand new this July. In August, someone reversed into it so via my insurer RACV, they sent it to Browns to get "fixed".
A few weeks later Browns called us to tell us that the car was ready - I drove the car home and that was that. It wasn't until my dad's friend who's is a panel beater inspected the car and noticed they'd done the dodgiest job.

Repairs should have taken 2.5 weeks. 8 weeks later, I still do not have my car. I returned the car after 4 weeks due to severely defective workmanship to be repaired. Still waiting to this day. I cannot be give any form of indication of when I will receive my vehicle. Never had I had to endure such staff who show more concerned planning their next binge than my car.
My car was taken there for repairs by AAMI and actually came out with more issues that when it went in. I will never allow my car to be repaired or serviced by Browns Motors again. I am appalled by their service and strongly recommend you do not use this business or any mechanic they employ.

The customer later complained that their car door would not close properly & that there was a warning light on. One of the plastic clips inside the door had broken. It was impossible to tell if we caused this however we replaced the clip. The warning light was an electrical fault which would require the services of an ...read more
