This is a good place for lunch. We had the lunch buffet which was a choice of three curries, some vegetables and steamed rice, it was tasty and good value, however the drinks end up costing more than the actual meal. I can also recommend the ala-carte menu where the butter chicken is delightful. The service is ok, the venue is small but busy, and it is nice when they open up the front windows so that you can people watch whilst enjoying your lunch. Well located on Rokeby Road. Good place for a weekday lunch, but beware of the beverage prices. The Buddah Bar also does take-away.
The food was tasty (although the onion bhajis were overcooked) but the service was rather poor. Had to wait 15 minutes to get main course cleared away then after another 15 minutes had to go and ask for sweets to be served! 1 1/2 hours for 3-course lunch is far too long!
Went here for lunch and enjoyed it.The food was great! Although the food took a while to come out so had to eat quick to get back to work (1hr lunch). Great experience though. Would recommend their lunch time specials - $12 for butter chicken or beef korma with rice and papadams :)
