Buderim Tavern

The views are unbelievable, you can see the whole way to the water over the beautiful hinterland!! They have an indoor childrens area which is great but a bit smelly to be honest….we were also disappointed with the service. We got two seafood specials and were surprised to see that one of the plates was missing items and when we ordered a childrens pizza it was presented to a young child on a plate that was so hot the server told them not to touch it. Obviously we just went and asked for a cold plate to put it on but it seemed a little silly to us to risk burning an over eager childs hand rather than just bring an additional plate.

Poor experiences at the Buderim Tavern. We have dined here on four occasions. the food is reasonable bu the service is abysmal. Maitre De is an unsmiling and unwelcoming lady. I am informed that there is very litle chance of getting a window seat as 400 customers also want one. Funny on the day we were there for lunch there were two tables with reserved signs on them despite the fact the we requested a window table 24 hours in advance we didnt get a window seat. Disabled park spaces all full but cars not displaying disabled badges???. Wont go back!

fantastic views (day light only) food is nice, service on the day was not fantastic at both the food counter and the bar, but the food was nice.
