Bulletin Place is a breath of fresh air for the Circular Quay area. Surrounded by tourist traps and your stereotypical corporate bars and restaurants it is one-of-a-kind. Hidden up a stairwell and, sort of, in a back alley is Bulletin Place and it has been there for years. They operate a first-come first-serve policy because the space is super tiny but if you have to keep going back to try it out definitely do as it is worth the effort. The bar staff are so friendly and ready to help you order from their cocktail menu which is fairly minimal and printed on brown paper hung to the wall, because, well, why not?! Although small the cocktail menu packs a punch and the best way is to either try them all or get a recommendation from the pros eg. the bartender (if you didn’t get that).
