Tried their classic pork and lemongrass beef banh mi. Both are good but I found that the lemongrass beef has more meat filling compared to the classic pork that has less meat and more veggies. I don't mind at all though as I have to pump up my veggie intake :)
As for the price I think it's reasonable as the size is pretty big.
I wanted something tasty, comforting and healthy so Vietnamese was the perfect choice. The menu consists of all the classic dishes including various versions of Pho (different meats), other noodle soups, vermicelli based salads, bahn mi & more. On this occasion I went for the classic beef pho which came hot and fragrant. It was fresh tasting, warm & comforting, just what I wanted. It was flavoursome but did lack the depth and authenticity you'd find at a proper Vietnamese restaurant. I also ordered the classic pork bahn mi on a white roll (as this os traditional, but you can also get wholemeal). It was tasty but the pork was unusual & had a deep coloured marinate to it. More Chinese tasting to me, though it was tasty. Wish there was more pate. The chicken salad was fresh, tasty & delicious. Overall the food was good although not as authentic, portions are average but prices are steep for this type of food. However I understand this may be the case given their location.
I really loved the fresh rice paper rolls and the warp I got here. It was all so fresh, and hygenically prepared, loved the coriander that gave it such a fresh hit. Good prices for such a big meal. And so much healthier than other takeaways, highly recommended and they have their own seating area so I was able to sit and zone out.
Nicely presented Vietnamese takeaway joint in the MLC food court. Got the large beef pho and was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the brot. My expectations weren't high as I hadn't had many good pho experiences in foodcourts - but this one exceeded my expectations. Only suggestion would be to be a bit more generous with the meat. Will have to return to try a pork roll!
