Use to be my favourite store, not any more. The lack of staff to assist is getting very annoying & time consuming, especially when having to find items where you knew where they once were, but now relocated or not stocked anymore. Yesterday I went in to get a television mounting bracket, said they had stock (47),but no one knew where they were! really? 47 of them. Went to another shop & bought them in the end.Bunnings management get more staff for assistance please - the poor buggers that are there are under the pump & can't assist properly.
The one star is for the lovely lady who greeted me upon entering.
I went to the store today to purchase WD-40, after searching up and down the whole store. I attempted to locate one of the staff member (not an easy task). Upon finding one I approached the gentleman asking where it was, he made no effort to stop his work and help me, he simply just said “they’re in the trade area, round there”.
Once getting to the trade desk I still couldn’t find it so I asked a lady behind the desk, she rolled her eyes and said “last aisle on the right” with no attempt of enthusiasm. I definitely won’t be returning to Midland Bunnings anytime soon.
Where you meet the clueless and the cocky - just cannot be too bothered. Stock item not on shelf-'I'll find someone from gardening section.we do stocktake everyday. No none in stock, may be 1 to 2 wks' said the cocky up himself. No answer on to which Bunnings I could get it in stock. You'd think for the amount they r ripping customers off with plants not fit for Perth climate, they could have a system to update customers about stock.
I find Midland Bunnings a very frustrating shopping experience! Today went in to make a simple purchase of a drill, plugs and screws! After waiting for 10 minutes to get served, was finally able to attract the attention of a staff service person who directed me to the trade desk. Another wait of 5 mins to be told ' you need red plugs with this drill '. maybe Aisle 40 or perhaps 41. Finally found red plugs in aisle 39! But getting screws to fit the plugs was another mission! A service person seemed to know even less than me, and was totally useless. Finally, I left the store without plugs or screws, and have promised myself will never go back to Midland Bunnings ever again. It is definitely not a store that values customers.
