Bunnings Pakenham Warehouse

Helping out a mate with some renovations and dropped in Bunnings. Only had to pick up a few common plumbing fittings, called over one of the plumbing secton members to see if they could find them for us, staff didn't, they didn't stock them. Then went on to offer up alternatives, which would have caused severe blockage issues in the future.

Prices were also astronomical in comparison to other shop.



DIYers, be careful if asking for plumbing advice at Bunnings! If you're not sure ring a licenced plumber.



Overall bad experience, apart from the awesome cheap specials throughout the store.

Rude arrogant and unhelpful staff.

I buy alot of timber for renovations and landscaping but this staff put me right off bunnings.

We love going to bunnings pakenham, even if it's just for a short family outgoing. the greeting staff are always friendly and welcoming. People are happy to serve you and take to you right to the item you are looking for. The DIY sessions are ace and the kids entertainment which is sometimes on weekends are wonderful. They recently had reptiles you could pat and hold which had my kids thrilled! My kids also love getting stamps on their hands on the way out. Very family friendly store.

Stopped in at Bunnings Pakenham as it was on my home, to pick up a couple of things. Found 1 of the items but couldn't find the other. Walked around & around looking for someone, kept passing another customer who had the same problem. Ended up putting the item back on the shelf. One time I bought a heap of paint & all the bits & pieces to do it. I asked the girl at the register for a few bags & she just pointed to the stack of boxes to help my self and started serving the next person (the boxes were too small to fit anything into them!). Never again will I be using Bunnings anywhere in Australia if I can help it there all shocking.

Its a big store, staff seem to be more than happy to say hello but when ask for a hand they're too busy with another customer who is no where to be seen. Does seem to have a lot of cheapy looking brands filling the shelves, garden centre is every bland, the lines at the registers are long, went in with my son to buy some timber, their timber has alot of knot holes and bad grain, wrote down the prices to match with Mitre 10, which have much better service, their prices were much cheaper than the ones from Bunnings.

Overall I wasn't happy with the Pakenham Bunnings store.
