A true mastermind of the sweet palate. Darren Purchese's dessert bar takes you on a tastebud journey. I had the caramel tart AND the lemon tart and i must say i could not choose a favourite between the two. BOTH WERE SOO GOOD. You can also sample whats on the counter to inspire your tastebuds.

I came here recently for a day trip to Melbourne and I was blown away as soon as I stepped into the store! So many sweet treats to choose from, I wanted to try them all! I was in Dessert Heaven! I tried the chocolate, hazelnut and salted caramel tart and it was amazing. I ended up purchasing a pack of honeycomb to take back home with me and even that you can tell the good difference from a usual honeycomb pack they sell at the grocery stores. I definitely will be back next time I am in Melbourne!

I absolutely love this shop. They have a great selection of desserts ready to eat but also lots of packed sweet goodies which you can take away with you... On this particular visit the lady gave me a complimentary lime tart that was delicious. Customer service is very attentive.

A fusion of art and science, this sweet studio has everything to thrill the sweet tooth. The patissiers are always experimenting with new flavours to tempt you with, sometimes with very interesting results. Even better, you get to watch the kitchen at work through a glass screen! You can also order cakes for special events, including online.

Wow. This "sweet studio" is divine. The shop is impeccable and everything looks so incredibly good. It's hard to make a decision with so many delights to choose from. The sweets are works of art, and this justifies the price in my opinion. There was also exceptional customer service - highly professional yet friendly and helpful. We had the chocolate, mandarin and salted caramel slice/cake which was delicious. Also the smoked white chocolate, coffee, lemon and aniseed slice/cake. The combination and variety of flavours is out of this world!
