Burgerman

Not sure what has happened to Burger but this is quite possibly one of the worst eating out experiences I have had in a long time. Firstly we were seated in at a dirty table and had to wait for about 15 minutes to get it cleaned even after prompting the waitress. We then waiting another 15 minutes to get served by an unfriendly waitress. While we were hoping for a quick and easy meal, we then waited an abnormally long time for a burger which I have to say was nothing like it used to be. I ordered the lamb burger which was supposed to come with eggplant but it had lettuce and tomato instead. Also I asked for a spelt bun but it just looked like the regular buns.The chips we ordered were also burnt. I'm not sure if it has changed ownership or management but it is definitely like it used to be. I used to enjoy coming here but after tonight I would definitely never go here again.

We went there for dinner last week and I could say that they havent really taken care of the place since we first went there a few years back.

The place, although is still a nice quiet place, looks like they havent been cleaned for a while. We dined upstairs and it felt like someone's old home.

The food, however, is still good and they have friendly service too. It is not a "value for money" as such, but it is ok to go there once in a while for a change of scenery.

Burgerman is the best place in Sydney for burgers. They have a very funky environment and also serve beers. The burger choice is good, using all high quality ingredients and fresh, well thought out flavours. I only wish there was one in the inner west too!

Burgerman has been around for so long and has been a neighbourhood favourite. While it is not what it used to be, they still do the best burger in Darlinghurst / Surry Hills. None of the new burger places around this area really compare. Also the service has gone down hill. It is often slow and not very friendly.

Has gone down hill somewhat over the years but still beats your average takeaway grease burger. Proper rolls, instead of the spongey variety is a definite plus and the ingredients are fresh, just doesn't do it for me like it used to.
