Bushfire Management Consultants are a Corporate Member of the Fire Protection Association of Australia (FPAA) and have undergone training and testing to become accredited through the Bushfire Planning and Design (BPAD) scheme. As such we are authorised to issue BAL Certificates for Complying Developments as required by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act.

We specialise in the investigation and assessment of bushfire risk and threats from Pre-purchase vacant land inspections to advise you upfront what your Council and the Rural Fire Service (RFS) will require when you build, through to complex assessments of new subdivisions and developments.

All new buildings on Bushfire Prone Land require a Bushfire Hazard Assessment and Report to be submitted to Council to support your development application. We will work directly with your Council the RFS and your Building Designer or Architect to improve safety and reduce the cost of mandatory bushfire construction requirements as listed in the Australian Standards AS 3959 - Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Areas. ...read more
