The chalet images on the website appear new and spacious. When we arrived at the chalet as a group of 5, we were horrified at the cramped, tiny house that they had placed us in. The chalet was booked to sleep 5. There was one small queen bedroom, one extremely small room which could only just fit a double decker bed and the mattresses were unvacuumed. And the final nightmare of the bedding issue: Apparently a fold out couch counts as a 5th bed!!! Absolutely disgraceful home for $300 a night.
The bathroom was old style and in need of renovation. There was no oven.
No linen was provided, we had to go to the office and request linen and blankets AND put them on the beds OURSELVES.
The staff were generally friendly and the location was satisfactory.
I would not stay there ever again and would not reccommend it. Definately not worth the money.
Reviewer was a school leaver, which she fails to mention - and as such they were all subject to conditions that do not apply to regular guests! They pay a higher price due to their lack of regard for property etc and the extra cleaning and security that has to take place for this period of time. Her group were aware of chalets sleeping arrangements and that if she wanted to have additional people stay then the only other bed available was the futon in the living area. She was a late booking and we only had our smaller 2 bedroom chalets left ( mostly used by travelling couples) and she was happy to take this. Linen was provided to her on request and due to us having over 400 leavers at this time, they were aware that they had to pick this up from the office. The condition that she and her group left the chalet is was very dirty and had not been keep clean, there were kitchen glasses broken and property damaged but she again has failed to mention this.
