Buzo Restaurant
Buzo is a local favourite. Downstairs there is a waiting area that feels very homey. The upstairs has tables tightly squeezed in. There is not a lot of room to roam around. The menu is set according to what is in season. Therefore the fresh produce dictates what is created. Some of these creations shave been grappa-cured Atlantic salmon and a torte made of mascarpone, pandoro and blueberry trifle. Whatever the season is the dishes definitely tempt the taste buds.

This grand, Victorian two-storey corner spot comes with quite the pedigree. It made its name as Buzo, one of the first trattoria-style spots to really lift Sydney’s game on Italian cooking. More recently it was the home of Pinbone, which won hearts with whimsical, parfait-topped chocolate crackles. The latest shift is a return to the illustrious Italian name by the same owners as Macleay Street Bistro; but there's a twist - it ain't Italian anymore. You can now expect Modern Australian dishes like Beetroot and Goats Curd Salad ($19) dotted with honeycomb shards and smoked almonds and Confit Kingfish ($35) served with Jerusalem artichoke, crisp red cabbage and green edamame. And being Woollahra, you can even BYO ($14) on Wednesdays.
This restaurant provides the best in dining - friendly knowledgeable staff; pleasant, tranquil ambience, extensive wine list and food that melts in your mouth. There's never a rush to get you out - you are left to savour all the flavours and delights in your own time. Great value - it's well worth saving up to treat yourself and that someone special to a night out here :)
