Where mezza meets churrasco"The Lebanese came to Brazil young and arrived in a country with completely different customs, without knowing the language, with very little money in the pocket, faced all the adaptation problems and managed to reach the only thing that theyhad in mind: to be successful" Carlos Abumrad.
The population of Brazil identifying with either full or partial Lebanese descent is estimated at between 7 to 10 million people. This settlement started in the late 19th century and since the number of immigrants is larger than the population in Lebanon.
Subsequently, the Lebanese culture has influenced many aspects of Brazil's society. Today, their successful integration is evident in their influential roles in politics, arts, athletics and most importantly, hospitality.
In the main Brazilian cities, it is easy to find restaurants of Lebanese food and dishes, such as sfihas, tabbouleh, kibbeh, hommus and halawah, which are very well known and craved among Brazilians.
Here are at BvB, we bring you the integration of the two cultures' food on a platter all the way from the streets of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
We invite you to relax to the sounds of music arising from the integration of both cultures and experience the fundamental values of generosity and excellence in service in the Lebanese and Brazilian cuisine. Feast on the combination of delicious Lebanese mezza and succulent Brazilian churrasco. And if your taste buds are alluring for dessert, what's more satisfying then broiled pineapple on our rotisserie or the adored baklawa.

TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!! i would never consider coming here again ! i would not pay $40 pp to eat here i only ate two chicken wing , 1 ribs, i peice of beef and had to wait nearly an hour for food which didnt even come i had to leave the restaurant because i was sick of waiting and after complaining the mangement spoke to me in a rude manner there was no air-con the staff seemed really embarrassed that their work place was unorganised such a shame i was looking forward to eat here but i would not come back even if they dropped there prices !
service was average, as we were the only ones in the restaurant, but with only one staff to attend it was a bit overwhelming for the staff on duty. If they intend to open for lunch on Sundays, they should be prepared, otherwise, just don't open. all the food served appeared to be leftovers from the night before (except the green salad). All the meat were re-heated and served warm, but not fresh. Despite of asking for fresh barbecued meat, they only served whatever was left on the skewers from previous night. I was checking the venue to bring larger groups of Brazilians who enjoy good food. It failed badly. Hopefully it is not the same for the evening diners. It failed on quality of food, and the price charged was excessive for the leftovers. Suggestion, if the restaurant is planning to serve the leftovers from the night before on lunch, have it announced and charge half price. a bill of $278.00 for 4 adults was excessive, it was expected a lot more than what was presented.
The food at this place wasn't bad - a little too dry and salty for our liking, but otherwise ok considering we got it for half price (voucher). However the service and atmosphere was terrible. It's quite a large place but with only one other family, it seemed very empty. Despite the limited customers, service was very slow. We had to wait an hour for a serving of pineapple! Also, as I have a rather large appetite, it got to a stage where they simply stopped serving us food, and would deliberately walk around our table and serve the tables to either side of us, which was very frustrating. Finally, we had to leave while I was still hungry because the service was so slow and it was getting late (10:30pm). Overall, it's ok if you get it for half price and you have a small appetite, but it definitely isn't all you can eat, and there are much better Brazilian bbqs out there at a similar price.
Failed on all levels...atmosphere, service, food,. Left sweating from no aircon because they had a window open. Staff were not even happy to be working, food was horrible filled up on salad and drinks. Very expensive for quality of food and service. Service slow. Worst place I've eaten in my life will never come here again and don't recommend. Nothing brazilian about this place. Worst experience overall very disappointed fail fail fail
