Cafe Morso

Went for a walk to the wharf for a quick cuppa on me smoke break and found this little gem boasting harbour views and a chilly sea breeze. Definitely a must try for lunch from what i can see!

It told me to park above Cafe Morso but you can't get in unless you have the swipe card. So we parked and walked only to notice that the cafe is a level below and thank goodness we found elevator

Why it didn't direct unless to a lower level street I don't know!

First thing you will notice is the friendliness of the staff,it's like they are aiming to please

Food wise we enjoyed what we had and found it reasonably priced

My banana smoothie had dried banana on top,I liked it

My salmon gravlax was lightly seared and tasty

My wife had the truffled scramble eggs,it wasn't really scrambled but she was expecting it to taste a little better

You do see the water where you are but you just mainly see boats,not really a Romantic view

Worth trying

This place totally rocks, what a fab location right on the water at the funky Jones Bay Wharf. You sit down and take in the view and your are reminded that Sydney Harbour is a working harbour. I've seen groups of people here for breakfast meetings and lunch is always a good time. Not open for dinner though in told you can have your private function held here at night, good to keep in mind in case a boy ever wants to marry my daughter !
Now, the food, it is beautifully executed. I had an excellent crab risotto and hubby had a pork dish. This level of quality coupled with the prices makes for very very reasonably priced food. I can't speak highly enough, and the coffee was also beaut.

I always love coming here and it's not just for the views. The food is always cooked to perfection and so beautifully presented. However, the last dish that I had was the gnocchi and it was a bit too oily for liking, but the flavour was there.

One of my fav brunch place. Nice place with nice view. The best in here are their rissoto and their scramble mushroom. A must try brunch place
