Caffe Buongiorno Tea Tree Plus

This business has CLOSED after failed negotiations with Westfield on the new lease agreement :(

I went here the other night for coffee with a friend. At 8.15pm they told us it was nearly their closing time. To be fair by 9.05 when they politely but firmly told us to leave there wasn't anyone else left, but I was disappointed at this early closing time.
I had a hot chocolate that was deliciously sweet and a banana caramel pie that was to die for! A bit pricier than I would have liked but certainly fulfilling. Just wish I hadn't had to gulp it down...

I'm on my way home from this restaurant. We both ordered pork belly. One had beautifully crisp crackling, mine was soft skin. I sent it back asking for it to be crisped up. It returned a while later with more salt on it but was still soft. To top it off the mash and carrots on the plate were now cold. So I returned it to the counter and said no it's not crisp, just give me dome wedges please. My wedges arrived. After our table of 16 had left I had to approach again and ask 'well will you refund me the $25 for the pork'? The manager said I can deduct the price if your $9.90 wedges from the $25. Pork. He explained he is only the manager and that's the best he can do. I'm appalled!
Sorry will not be going back.
I suggest if you are not satisfied with your meal, make a big load fuss in front of others to get and where.
Doesn't pay to be quiet and polite.

Recently I have been reguarly going to Caffe Buongiorno at Modbury. I have found the service at the front of house is excellent. The coffee is of a very high standard, and the food is generous in taste and servings. I enjoy a great breakfast every time I go there in the mornings. It has a very friendly and warm atmosphere, so its a great place to relax, when catching up with family and friends.The management is warm and welcoming, and have instructed their staff to be very attentive to the customer, therefore some the best staff i have experienced. I like to personally thank Rob, Shane, Toni, Alice and Adian, for their proffessonal sevice. Go and have a great time. Well done and thank you!!.

Visited here after avoiding it for a year after my previous review. I have to say it was better (though that wouldn't take a lot...), this time I avoided the salad and had pizza instead which was actually quite tasty with fresh ingredients, though it really was overpriced for what it was - could get a similar pizza of a larger size for the same price elsewhere. It was also disappointing that I had a VIP voucher for my birthday (hence why I went) but this was only for food which wasn't made clear on the voucher at all - so I ended up paying too much for a drink. Service was fine enough though nothing really special either. Really can't say there was enough about today's visit to make me want to rush back.
