Calypso Campervan Rentals

We definitely can not recommend a Campervan from Calypso. The Van had several lacks, while raining we had a wet bed, kitchen and cockpit as well. Furthermore, the owner has confirmed a part refund but never payed it to us.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
We booked 5 months in advance the STURT campervan for 1 week and paid the deposit. Few days later I received an order confirmation with clear reference to the type and name of the campervan I booked. Happy days. Three weeks before flying to Australia I contacted the company to check if everything was fine with the booking and I realized that the capervan they actually reserved was not the STURT but it was of a lower quality than the one I booked and that was written on the order confirmation. Because of that I asked for a discount but they didn't agree, ignoring the fact that on the booking confirmation there was a better vehicle than the one they were keeping for me! I am Australian and I returned to Australia for a holiday with my German girlfriend and our 6 month old son at the end of November 2012. We rented a campervan from Calypso Capervans from Dec 1st 2012 until Dec 22nd 2012 and we drove it from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road then back along the coast and up to Sydney.
