We had my Granddaughter's first birthday brunch there recently. Staff and atmosphere were lovely, I had the breakfast burger with a large cappuccino and it was one of the best meals and coffee I've ever had. Had covid safe measures in place. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Totally recommend.
Can't beat the atmosphere of CVI, it's our local and we visit frequently. Beautiful beer garden with loads of seating and play equipment for kids. Perfect in summer as there's loads of big trees for shades and even more perfect in winter with the huge open log fires and cosy vintage cottage decor. The food is your old school pub food, great price, big serves and fast bistro service. The CVI famous pie is always a winner. There's cottage accommodation next door which is lovely. Perfect for any occasion. Casual, birthday, celebrations and even weddings! 10+
If you want some nice rooms in the Camden area for a holiday then this is a good place to stay. The pub next door has food, bar etc. On the other hand, if you want accomodation for business, the rooms are fine but the lack of broadband etc. is a major issue as is the question of whether things like breakfast will be available.
