After only a short stay of a couple of days, our dog came back under weight and didn't bark for nearly 2 weeks after we took him home (our boy is usually very vocal). At the time we thought nothing of his weight loss and that perhaps he was just anxious for us to return and stopped eating? He used to be a rescue and we thought that perhaps the kennel environment might have been too much too soon. However, after hearing similar stories from other pet lovers who know KCC, we think a bit more is unfortunately involved. To put it lightly, our dog will never be returning. Also, they 'lost' his dog bed and his dog toys so not sure what he was sleeping on and what he kept himself busy with. Its been more than a month since and they haven't refunded us for his missing dog bed or toys. Shameful behavior from KCC. Someone should investigate them.
Hi Luna
Thank you for your review. Sorry you felt this way and we take our reviews very seriously. I do however find it hard to believe a dog could or would lose that much weight in 2 days. We feed a premium diet and we feed according to owners instructions. If we have dogs not eating we will add cooked chicken. As for your dog losing his voice unfortunately we can't stop the dogs barking, this is just something dogs do. In our emails to clients we do state no bedding but alot of clients don't bother to read our emails. The reason we don't like taking bedding is because we have lots of own and we wash from morning to evening and sometimes clients bedding does end up in our pile of ...read more
To clarify, our dog stayed at CCC for close to a week (not 2 days as the reply below falsely suggested) and the loss of barking was obviously a symptom of behavioral changes sustained as result of what took place during the stay. I wasn't there so I don't know what happened, only the condition of my pet when I picked him up. Furthermore, we were encouraged by the lady who was behind the desk when we dropped our dog off to leave behind his bedding. I take no pleasure in leaving a bad review, but this is simply my experience as a customer. And as a pet lover I feel obliged to share my own personal experience and I sincerely hope that CCC can offer better service in the future for the pets in their care. That is my only intention and the purpose of this review and I hope your business' makes the necessary changes. Kind regards,
Hi Luna
As you never put your name or your dogs name I was purely going on what you wrote in the first line of your review "After only a short stay of a couple of days".
We just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Canine Country Club, for taking such good care of our dog Ella over the last year; on her many doggie day care stays. It gives us peace of mind to know she is in such good hands, when have to leave in their care from time to time.
Ella loves it there and gets so excited as we drive through the gates, she just can’t wait to get in there and start her day; she gets so excited when she meets her friends, the staff. Her safe and comfortable place.
Wishing all the lovely staff well over the Christmas Holidays and New Year, a busy time for all at the Canine Country Club.

Canine Country Club Review.
We recently placed our little rescue dog Ella in the care of the Canine Country Club for 27 days due to a return trip to the UK, in regard to my Mums I’ll Health.
Ella has spent the last twelve months there from time to time on a doggie day care basis and she loves it. Always well cared for and ...read more
Nothing like represented on the website and nothing like the standards we experienced under the previous owners/management when we boarded our dog on 3 previous occasions. I would advise everybody to tour the facility prior to boarding your pet here. We cancelled our booking.
Hi Simon
Thank you for your review. I do find it a little unusual you making this review when you never even came to our premises. Our staff at the canine country club give their utmost care to the animals and I can assure anyone all animals left in our care are treated like our own, Fed a super premium diet, let out three times daily and extremely well cared for. Unfortunately you cant please everyone. A kennel situations is never like your own home.
