Captain K fish and chips

On Tuesday 11th June 2024 I went there and I asked for a fresh flake and I even repeated it twice but that stupid girl goes and cooks me a fried flake when I didn't even ask for that so she shouldn't be allowed to work there if she can't even do her job properly. I would definitely avoid this place all costs while that stupid girl is working there.

Once again chips super yellow.. no clue what oil they use bits NO food should be bright yellow after frying in any oil. Third time in a row the. young girl got the order wrong by the time you get home to eat it's too far or to late to redo the order.
after many yrs of being a loyal local customer I /we stopped going here before COVID because the food got worse and the orders consistently incorrect. At $40 for two burgers four dimmies and two potato cakes is frankly highway robbery.
I will not be back again now after so many tries to get decent food from them. Clearly they don't care about the quality of their food or the customers, most of whom are locals.

I went there with Elise for dinner on Monday afternoon and I had a Flake Pack plus 2 small Potato Cakes to the home and Elise had 2 Steamed Dim Sims and a small Potato Cake. We didn't enjoy it because the Fish was soggy and the Potato Cakes were overcooked so I definitely would recommend going to Fish Choices because their Fish and Potato Cakes are cooked to perfection.

My wife went in an ordered some fish and chips for us and our two young daughters - 40 min later and no food, when my wife questioned them they blamed the cash register and didn't even apologise... when I rang and complained the management didn't really care and said "go and find another fish and chip shop then"... customer service here is disgusting... never again.

We always have the grilled baramundi and chips, fish is always nice and chips crunchy.we are returning here for our f&c even after we moved from Lilydale.
