Value for money and great service. I had my Audi in for a service; the guys did a great job, stamped my log book, wheel alignment and a couple of tyres, all done same day and didnt have to take my car anywhere else. Oh! and was mush cheap then my old dealer servicing. they texted me when my car was ready, What more can you ask for. Thanks for the great service , see you next time. Tristan
I was getting a road worthy cert. I have a copy of it here. I wish I could just upload the picture so you can see the proof. Wasted $67.00 of my money.
They wanted to fail me because the cloth on the side of the door was coming ...read more
Hi there.. Really? Do I need to explain this? I guess so! You bring your car in for a roadworthy inspection, we inspect the vehicle and either pass or fail it. In this case, according to the law your car fails, we give you a list of items that don't pass. That is what your $67 is for. I won't go through every item here but common sense would tell you: Wiper blades need to work and clean your windscreen, your lights need to be in working order, an engine mount can t be broken, oil can't be leaking from your engine, your mirrors need to be secure so you can see other vehicles behind you, and yes your tyres can't be bald. Just because you got someone else to pass it doesn't mean it is roadworthy. Here's something to think about! If a police officer lets you off for doing 65 kph through a school zone, is he really doing the right thing? So mate, I can sleep of a night knowing I told you what makes your car unsafe. Can you sleep of a night knowing it isn't??

Yes I understand that is what you claim to do.
But lets talk about facts here.
You list my car door trimming as something which you would fail my car. Yet that is not on the car safety cert criteria. Yet you list it? Just throwing an idea out there.
But by all means convince me that some cloth on the passenger side door is going to cause a crash? lol
Pro tip guys. If you don't know the mechanic - get a mobile safety cert guy. Its less prone to this.
Hi, again. Lets get a couple of things clear. You can have your car repaired anywhere, you can even do this yourself; this makes no difference to us in any way. The fact here is that your car failed a Safety Certificate Inspection. If you don't agree with the guide lines you need to take this up with the Queensland Transport Department. As far as the cloth you keep going on about, this coth is part of the door trim which needs to be secured. It's not a lolling matter. Your car had both front door trims flapping around; this could distract you whilst driving and could cause an accident. You could have fixed this with a stapler at NO cost. I find communication either by phone or face to face (rather than a forum) usually has a better outcome for both, can answer any questions and may be able to explain why these laws are in place? Even though you may not agree.... Just a pro tip!
not a good place to take your car, they make your minor problem worst so you have to go back to them ASAP and get it fixed. car was running fine before i had to take it to these guys, i just think they are after money rather than business.
Hi. I've read your review, I'm sorry you feel this way.
Your vehicle came in for its service. You told me directly don't ring me if my car needs anything extra, just make a list and I will go through it when I collect my car.....Which we did.
Your car requires further repairs which we outlined on your invoice, these repairs are not covered on the service you purchased, which I explained to you. We completed the service you asked for, and did exactly what you asked us to do? Your vehicle requires additional repairs and further diagnosing to rectify the poor running, which I also explained to you would continue to get worse, until you have it repaired. We also mentioned, the warning lights coming on the dash are related to the engine running rough. Your service did not cover tuning or diagnosing which is what your vehicle requires.Did you contact RACQ technical department for another opinion like I suggested? I'm sure they would clear this up for you.
