Carb & Gas

I was charged $850 for a carby rebuild on a carby that was the wrong type for my car and the MANAGEMENT of this so called mechanics shop told me so (AFTER I HAD PAID MY FEE OF COURSE). So now I have not only an F100 I cannot drive because the carby isn't big enough to run a 351 cleveland I have no money as a result of losing my job to fix my problem. These people obviously knew that this carby was wrong and charged me anyways. I have since looked up the price of a carby kit they used on mine and it costs $75 dollars from the original store and a recomended 45 minutes to install. The correct carby for my car that I now have to purchase is $550 BRAND NEW AND TWICE THE SIZE so you all can do the math and measure it against them. In closing I would like to add that IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY TAKEN FROM YOU FOR DOING NOT ONLY THE WRONG JOB BUT KNOWING THAT THE WRONG JOB IS BEING DONE.

How refreshing to be told exactly what is wrong with my car, how long it will take and how much it will cost and now my car is running perfectly. Thanks to Scott and his team for turning my break down into a good experience as now I have a great all round mechanic not just a good gas man.

This mechanic let me feel disappointed and angry too much. I will never came again. They didn't diagnose my car's problem correctly, and simply changed several parts that still work well. When I came back, they didn't even say sorry, try to let me go with excuses that they were busy with several customs and didn't have time to talk with me. They were only wasting my time and money. It is too sad to see a mechanic like this.

These guys know their stuff. I had taken my car to 3 other mechanics and had had the run around. Scott identified the problem and gave me options on what to do, no pressure. Easy to get on with, they have my business from now on.
