The service in this place is so bad it's funny!
A classic example of grumpy staff who hate customers, it is comedy of the highest order. Take yesterday, the lady behind the counter treated customers with distain, yelling at them across the room. One customer complained to her friends that she was being treated badly becuase she were Asian. Others just sat in shock.
Don't take anyone there to impress, it's aweful.
Terrible service. I was there with my new husband and mother in law who are from Russia. Dirty tables, the woman working there spoke horribly with my husband who has slower english - it wasn't a busy day either so she wasn't in a rush, but seemed annoyed he was taking his time deciding translating and asking his mum what she'd like to drink. When we were about to leave she screamed at us to "Take your rubbish to the bin, you clean after yourselves" it's called Cargo's Wharf "Restaurant", so i just assumed they'd be put away for us - I felt like screaming back "Wipe down your seagull pooped on tables" or does she also expect us to clean those for her?
Booked a Sunday afternoon table for 2. Given the corner table. Not a bad view!Food came out well presented and of a very high quality. Started with oysters They came put fresh and went down beautifully. For mains my partner had the John Dory
As it came reccommended one of us was game to try it. She rated the best food she has ever had.Salmon was soft, flakey and near perfect. Although it is a little pricey, we would love to come back soon. A wonderful place and great food. It will be highly recommended and well done to the kitchen. You deserve it.
