Caruso Italian Restaurant

My boyfriend and i have ordered takeaway and eaten here numerous times. The service is always A+ from the moment we walk inside to leaving with our bellies extremely full. My boyfriends favourite is the Quattro formaggio (four cheeses pizza) and although this was not on the takeaway menu the staff were nice enough to allow us to do so. The staff are always happy to help me decide on what to order by describing menu items and even offered to upsize my pizza so i could take home what i couldnt eat (love this!.. nothing like leftover pizza for lunch the following day). Its not really a place for fine dining but perfect for catching up with friends or any casual dinners.

My partner and I have been frequent diners at Carusos now since 2008. I think its fair to say that I have tried out most of the menu and its a challenge for me to pick a favourite. The Pizzas (in particular the Mexican pizza with a dollop of sour cream) was an early winner for me (I ordered this maybe 8 or 9 times) but as I have become more adventurous with my ordering I have been treated to some spectacular dishes. For the seafood lovers, Spaghetti mussels on fire is a standout (packed with fistfuls of mussels, a real stand out from the menu and great value for money) or my all time favourite to have with a bottle of red on a winters night, the Frutti di mare! Its one of the restaurants signature dishes and perfect for anyone who likes seafood, this is a must. Served with fresh crusty bread, plentiful amounts of fresh seafood napolitana sauce! Caruso's is a nice place and has a cosy feeling to it.



Foodwise - Ordered a pizza which I thought would be a big size for a regular but enough to eat for one person and it's truly a rip off. The pizza needs improvement.



I will still go back there to try other menu items.

Can always get a great meal here. I think depending on who is working service is usually great. Can get very loud and its smart to make a booking. Pizza have gone down hill a little(still pretty good though) but i love the pastas.
