Piano Teacher located near Thornleigh, Pennant Hills, Normanhurst and HornsbyI am a fully qualified, experienced, organised, reliable and kind piano teacher. I work hard to provide value for money tuition with tailored lessons for each student's needs. Individual lessons are available for students of all ages from beginner to advanced levels. AMEB (Australian Syllabus) examinations are encouraged in Classical, Contemporary or Leisure Piano as well as music theory. I strive to build confidence, discipline and motivation in my students through additional group lessons, student concerts and rewards. My students are guided through the emotional impact of music. As a teacher, I particularly enjoy showing students how their technical skills connect to the emotional depth of their performance.

My son has been learning piano with Cathy for about 6 years. From a young boy growing up to be a young man now, he has not only developed his piano knowledges, sense of music, theories and skills, but also the attitude, discipline and responsibility. The class every week with well planned practice helped him achieve decent results in AMEB exam as well as consistently contribute to his music subject in high school life.
Cathy is the best piano teacher I have ever seen so far. She has strong expertise in teaching children, exploring their interests, inspring and encouraging them. My son always likes to attend her class and is happy to listen to her and follow the intructions. I highly recommend her to the parents who are seeking piano teacher for their kids.

Cathy is a great piano teacher. I can't sing her praises enough. She is dedicated and creative and works with your children. She knows how to break things down and explain things, and she adapts her teaching to suit the needs of your child. She is kind, and she has a way of making your child want to rise, want to practice - she encourages and fosters a love of music. She is a sincere, honest, intelligent and practical teacher and feel so lucky to have found her. Cathy is greatly talented teacher & impressive person. Her structured method of teaching is not only unique and innovative but also is so fun & effective. She brings the best out of my child.
