CBD Dim Sims (South Melbourne Market Dim Sims)

The famous South Melbourne Dim Sims. The name is so renown that you will see it in fish and chip shops listed as South Melbourne Dim Sims. The original shop I believe is at the South Melbourne Market. I feel in love with these dim sims long ago when I found out about it. Queues were always along, having seen them go through complete renovation as they expanded and got bigger. In recent years they have now opened another location on Elizabeth Street. A dim sim will set you back $2. They are large and round, extremely filing. One could make you full, but always wanting a second. It goes so well with the soy sauce. Ive tried these steam however the taste just isnt there compared to when theyre deep fried. If youre not aware or havent as yet tried, its a dim sim that youre never go back to wanting the smaller ones or the frozen pack sold at the supermarkets ever again!
