I visited this photography gallery to attend an exhibition opening recently, and found the experience to be very disappointing. I am all for efficient use of space in galleries so that more art can be enjoyed, but in this case, the CCP had evidently taken this concept to its logical conclusion by almost wallpapering every inch of wall with photographs. I found this very disrespectful to the artists and their work, and it made it difficult (if not impossible) to see the pieces higher up and lower down. As there were so many photos by so many artists, the gallery was packed with people, and more closely resembled a peak-hour train than a photography gallery. This was exacerbated by the complete lack of a cloak room, and no air-conditioning whatsoever.
