I've been going to Charlie Chans for years. I've tried most things on their menu and have yet to be disappointed. Their hot bar dishes are the most popular, but their noodle soups are the stars. They'll be sure to warm you up this winter. All soups are freshly made right in front of you and the flavours are fantastic.

For healthier options, try their eggplant and mixed vegetables from the hot bar - delicious! If you can handle a bit of spice, do not go past their Chilli Chicken- my favourite dish in their entire menu.

I will keep going back to Charlie Chan's to support their family business until they close! Great service, friendly staff and fantastic food!

I was expecting cheap fast food quality Chinese, but was pleasantly surprised. I ordered takeaway noodles with a choice of 2 dishes. The food was tasty without leaving me thirsty for hours. Reading Easternian's review below, I'm going to give their soup-based dishes a go the next time.

Located at the spacious Westfield Eastgardens food court, Charlie Chans has always been my long-time favourite for when I crave for an authentic Chinese cuisine when visiting the centre. Although it might only have been a food court stall, their foods are of good quality and the price is very reasonable too.

Their specialties are their soup-based dishes, amongst other things. One of my favourite soup dishes that I order quite so often is their wonton noodle soup. This classic dish was made perfectly with very soft, delicious noodle and high quality meat in the wontons. Help yourself with their special sweet chili sauce from the self-serve area and you are in for an absolute treat. This dish only costs $7.90 (at the time of my last visit a few weeks back).
