Firstly they damaged walls and tiles at our house whilst removing our belongings - all of which required professional repairers. Secondly I caught one of the men smoking in our container whilst loading our furniture. Totally outraged the owner offered to spray our belongings, once they arrived in Tasmania, with a chemical that was used by the Fire Services to use in a house that had smoke damage, which they did. However they did not use any desiccants to absorb any moisture so whilst our belongings sat in their storage facilities our belongings grew mould - expensive antiques, clothes, leather items and much much more. Upon receiving our belongings, some of which they forgot to deliver, not only was there so much mould but an incredible amount of damage from their incompetent attempts at wrapping our items. Go anywhere else. The staff are incompetent. I booked a time to access my items in storage during working hours as they aren’t open on weekends. When I arrived I was told I could not access my items. I was then told I could come back at the weekend. A girl then told me actually I couldn’t as they aren’t open. I walked out furious. I was then called and asked if I could come back later that afternoon, I advised my partner would be in when he finished work, I was then asked by the mole at reception 'what exact time, I can’t have someone waiting around all afternoon for you'. I contacted the owner, who is hiding behind an email, rather than to call and apologize for the muck around. Rude, arrogant and untrustworthy, steer clear.

My husband and I have just moved from our large family home of 38 years where we had reared seven children. We are very grateful for the caring attitude all the staff of Bells Removals have had in the organizing of the day and on the day of moving. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though I had tried to downsize we still had a lot to move. The three men that moved the furniture were a joy to work with making our moving day a pleasant experience.
