I had a facial at Chrysalis and it was the best expierience I've ever had. The treatment started off with a skin consult which i believe is very important, the therapist asked me questions all about my skinto get to the bottom of my concern. The treatment was devine and i would recommend this clinic to anybody. The Girls were very professional and the environment was very calming.
I went to Chrysalis Beauty before my friend's wedding for an eye package. I wasn't consulted about what colours I preferred my eyebrow or lash tinting. The shaping was fine, but I ended up with massive scratches on my eyelids because the therapist decided to exfoliate my eye area after waxing. When I later contacted them to complain, complete with photos of the scratches, I was told that the therapist was one of their most experienced and she would never exfoliate after waxing. It must have been my fault because I must have had sensitive skin and didn't tell them. Although I've never had any issues with skin breakage during waxing, since this therapist was one of their most experienced therapists they must be right. And I'm certain that rubbing some sort of granulated treatment into my eye area was definitely not exfoliation. Hi Neenee I have just come back from holidays and was very distressed to read such a bad review. I have been unable to ascertain who you are or who your therapist was as you have posted this Anonomously and I dont have the photos. I visited this salon for a leg & bikini wax before my holidays
While on holidays a few days later the hairs were growing through
I did ring the salon to discuss this with the manager, she told me a lot of factors
affect this including the weather!
There was no mention of fixing the problem.
I paid $75 for a half leg & bikini wax, which included paying $20 for a tiny container which was recommended to prevent ingrown hairs, which I felt obliged to buy.
I'm sorry that you were not happy with the service provided. I did mention that your Therapist was an extremely experienced waxer and has many waxing request clients, and yes I did say "there are a lot of factors affect this including the weather" as your hair grows around 1/2 mm a month, and faster in the summer than in winter and you did mention you were going to Bali. Another factor that I mentioned was the possibility the regrowth of hair that you saw could have been below the surface at your time of waxing (anagen stage) and was not removed because wax can not grab any hair that is not visible. Hair growth is not synchronized and grows at different stages.
Sorry if you felt obligated to purchase the Waxing Ampoule that was certainly not our intention and is a great product to help slow down hair growth.
