Rather surprised to learn the chef makes his own pita bread. Friendly and attentive staff. Old world pub. Unfortunately, no Resches.

This pub is actually pretty cool. It is one of those late night venues that is more than happy to let you in as long as you're not going to cause any trouble. It is one of those places I visit at least once when I'm in Sydney, and even though it happens to be across the road from one of my other favourite pubs. On my latest visit though I discovered that they also have a night-club downstairs on the weekend in the basement (though I am a little over night-clubs, and it also seems to be geared towards the much younger crowd). However the pub on the main level is pretty cool. The staff have always been good, and prompt to serve you. If you're a smoker that do have an area in the side alley, but it's pretty grotty (and gets really crowded on the weekends).

Good city pub. The beer is cold and the food is splendid. Get the Waygu Beef stew. Delicious!!
Has a friendly atmosphere and an Art Deco style about it.

Great Greek food, especially warming in these winter months. The moussaka, lamb shank and beef stew are all excellent and worth $15. A great lunch time venue if you also fancy a few beers. I hear the club is also worth a visit at the weekends.

I popped in here with some workmates for a Friday lunch. I wasn't overly taken with the wine list.

The food was lovely, my lamb shoulder absolutely fell off the bone.
