Entertaining made easy...We are a specialist Spit roast catering company catering for Weddings, Birthdays, Engagements, Christenings, Corporate, Christmas, Presentations and all other parties, celebrations, events and functions.
We cater at all types of venues for all functions and all events. We guarantee that we will come and cook at every event, we do not deliver food ready cooked. We are fully equipped to cater inside or out and provide uniformed staff to cook and serve to you and your guests.
Our meat is slow cooked to retain all the succulent flavours and left to rest before carving and serving to your guests. Your guests help themselves to the buffet of hot potatoes, salads, vegetables and bread before being served their choice of three meats by our uniformed staff. After the main course is served the buffet table is replenished with our delicious desserts (if ordered). All remaining food is left for you.
We endevour to cater for all types of dietary requirements, just ask us.

My Wife's birthday was catered a couple of days ago by The Golden Roast.
I found Carol to be extremely helpful and always prompt with her email replies to my various queries along the way.
Lana was our Chef/ serving staffmember for the day and could not have been more professional in the way that she conducted herself.
The food was plentiful and tasted terrific. We had a wonderful selection of finger foods, meats, salads and desserts. All were awesome, especially the salads.
Lana arrived at the expected time and had the meal courses spot on in regard to the timing between courses and the requested main meal serving.

Our 130 guests all raved about the quality of the food and there was plenty for everyone. The hot nibbles before hand were amazing (although as bride and groom we forgot to eat many of them!) and you gave us great correspondence leading up to the big day as well.
I wish you all the success for the future and can't recommend Coast to Coast highly enough.

Hi Carol
Steve and I would just like to thank you and Peter for all your assistance in the lead up to the wedding in Wonthaggi. Wed especially like to thank Peter who went well above what was required, helping serve canaps while his delicious meats were cooking.
The spit roast was a hit with very little meat left (I think a few people came back several times). Peter was very professional and friendly and it was a relief knowing our dinner requirements were in capable hands.

They are good but I wouldn't recommend them for a wedding. They have poor communication and were late on the day of our event. Great for general low key events where you are not expecting too much. More formal events definitely look somewhere else.

As per our previous communications we arrived 35 minutes early for your wedding reception because we made allowances for holiday traffic which did not materialise.
Your wedding planners were mistaken about the time we were due to arrive and informed you that we were late. No mention was made of this on the day at all by either your family members that were there on our arrival or the wedding planners.
We are always available to contact by telephone, email or in person. We have lots of positive feedback from previous brides and grooms that any potential brides and grooms are happy to read and contact if they wish.
