I went to Coles Hurstville on Nov 18th around 10:30am and noticed the price tag have not been updated. A Coles employee was taking off the price tags at the freezer section, so I politely confirm the price with her, but she did not even turn her head to look at me nor replied. After I asked for a few times, she rudely replied "Whatever you see in the catalogue is the price. What a **** ***! So dumb!", all the while without turning her head to me. Note that I am quoting the exact words that she said. This behaviour is totally unacceptable! Especially that this is the second time within a few months that I had such a bad experience from Coles (the one from a few months ago was from Earlwood, where a female staff implied that I stole from the shop without first asked to check my receipt).
The young man working in the self serve section on Sunday 27th May about midday....was very helpful , he had a pleasant personality, and calmed me down when I was a bit frazzled working the machine....I’m sure his mum would have been proud of him.......I think his name was Ali.....
I stood in the line at the cigarette counter , so I could tell the manager about him and how good he was, but she told me to do it here.....this is the 3rd attempt......hope I have donee it right this time....thank you Ali........

Products are quite good but the service and staff are just tolerable. Was at a self serve check out when a staff member stood next to me for a solid 3 minutes before rudely telling me to move to which I did but obviously not enough until I was pretty much at the other side of the store (huge exaggeration but not far from the truth) for them to mop the floor. No please, no thank you but they did tell me to "move out of the way for 5 minutes" and "move".
If this is what they call customer service then I am so disappointed as I work at other supermarket in hurstville. Maybe it could have been because I was younger and they though they had more authority but as a customer, that was not the way to go about getting a customer to make some space.
Previous times I have asked staff for help I get dismissed and don't feel like they want to help.
Products aren't too bad though, been shopping there for a while but that encounter just. Ugh.
