Como Hotel

I have dined at The Como Hotel twice recently on their week day promotions and unfortunately I have not been impressed on both occassions. On Wednesday nights they have their $15.90 Chicken Parma special, and it would be special if it was actually the same size when you buy the meal at full price and get a full size meal. Unfortunately our parmas were pre-cooked and re-heated and served with minimal chips and underwhelming side salad. The beverages were also average with my champagne could have easily been passed off as a glass of wine as it lacked bubbles and freshness. Disappointing experience, half star is for the nice staff.

The Como has become my new go to pub after the working day is finished with. It has decent food at affordable prices and a pretty relaxed dress code which is great for after work. They have a good selection of beers on tap and the staff service is generally pretty quick. There is a restaurant on the other side of the main bar for those of you wanting to meet for a bit more of a formal occasion.

The Como Hotel is a great suburban pub. Offers great meals and reasonably priced drinks. $15.00 cocktails and their daily special of $10.00 per glass of Mumm champagne is my favourite. Great place to spend an Sunday afternoon in their beer garden listening to their acoustic band.

The Como is a great local pub, with good food and a great atmosphere!
