We bought a new house in Haberfield and sold our apartment in Five Dock. We used Campbell Mills at Conveyancing Sydney for both transactions. Before we signed the real estate agency agreement Campbell negotiated a reduced commission rate by half a %. It might not sound like much but on our $700,000 apartment he saved us $3500 bucks. Get Campbell to do your conveyance it will cost you less. 2 thumbs up.
We were in desperate need of a contract review on a Sunday, after seeing a home for the first time on the Saturday. Being the weekend, none of the other conveyancers answered their phones.
Campbell's name came up on a Google search as someone who was available on the weekend - so we gave him a call on his mobile, emailed him the contract, and a couple of hours later we got some great phone advice that showed he paid attention to detail.
Ultimately, we decided to go with another conveyancer for the purchase of our home, as we had already paid them a set amount. However, we would have gone with Campbell, had this not been the case. When we asked to be invoiced for the contract review, Campbell kindly advised that this was no charge.
Although I realise we've only experienced part of his conveyancing services, we would recommend Campbell for the reasons above.
What a poor service by Cambell Mills, and to find someone who is a qualified lawyer have no sense of urgency across all the endless issues, and his attention to detail was just poor. The whole process was a very stressful situation; I often have to negotiate to the purchasers solicitor myself, chasing up unresolved matters. And the fact is I am paying the top legal cost to him! He seems like a friendly person but cut off my line, refuse to go above and beyond to help me when there's some issue (after payment made). I felt extremely disappointed. Please consider if you would like to use his legal service.
